I think I have been following Sandra Juto's career since I began The Shiny Squirrel and even before that. There is a certain unique and distinct quality that only she has and I was delighted when she agreed to be apart of the series.

What is your art background?
Last week I finished my MFA at the University of Design and Crafts
in Gothenburg, Sweden. That's my education. I've been making art since I
was old enough to hold a pencil.
How has your photography progressed since you started blogging?
I take more pictures now, for a long time I brought my camera with me
wherever I went. It helps me find the little things in a big world.
Taking pictures is also one of my biggest inspirations.
INSPIRATION
What is the last great place you visited?
The Borough Market in London, we had coffee and beer sitting on a
pavement in the sun looking at people passing by.
What is the next step for you as an artist?
Now that I've finished my education my plans are to work in my own
studio with various projects as a freelance
artist/illustrator/photographer/designer, combining everything in a
happy mess.
If you could have superhero powers what would they be?
Mind reader, would be great to focus on other people's thoughts when my
own mind is full.
WORK IN PROGRESS
Name a few of your favorite contemporary artists?
Jockum Nordström, Karin Mamma Andersson, Calef Brown, Olaf Hajek etc.
What else do you do beside art?
I eat a lot of good food, take long walks, daydream, fika and sit on the
grass sipping sparkling wine with my friends.
WORMS
Currently Reading/ Watching anything?
I just watched Twin Peaks, one of my biggest inspirations. I try to
watch it once a year. Haven't had the time to read in a while, which is
something I really miss, usually I read about one book a week.
Any one you are dying to collaborate with?
Someone willing to collaborate with me, who has good ideas and loves
what he/she does, hopefully a person like minded.
