After you are all are done visiting me at Artists and Fleas this weekend on North 6th between Berry and Bedford...please check out The Gift on Grand!
I am obsessed with these Shadow Puppets.

I had to buy the Small red one today from Rose and Radish today!!! I love Tamar Mogendorff's museums!
These Andy Rabbits made me smile a lot.
I crave more from the people at I'm Smitten. The cards, shirts, and prints they are selling from their website are not enough. I want more and I want it now...maybe they will read it and whip me up something in my honor...say a Shiny Squirrel head?!?
I would wear it everywhere.
Little mod animals from Rock Scissor Paper. The heat is making me utterly exhausted, I went through a few of the MANY boxes of paper and art supplies this evening. I am trying to desperately condense everything into ONE box for the move. I found some amazing things today for FREE from the same garage sale that I got the previously wonderful chairs. However I found two things that were EVEN BETTER! These will follow tomorrow...
There is something old and crusty about my muffin this morning. Did they recycle from last week? It kind of feels like I got the leftovers from Friday.
I created this shadowbox last night while watching the ending of the horrible Sideways. It took me forever to get to the end. Although I am glad I finished it because I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about, I came to the conclusion that this movie should have never
been made. I did not hate it as much as About Schmidt, which I feel is an intolerable movie, but really this Sideways was painful!
Thomas Haden Church was just a dick the whole film and the only time you remotely even liked him was when he broke down and started crying. At that point I didn't think he was so much of a bastard for cheating on his finance or fucking over Sandra Oh. I wanted to really like the characters and not just feel sorry for them because they were pathetic. This was very hard to do.....I definitely do not recommend this movie.
I took out the The Stranger from the library as well as 8 1/2, I am a huge Fellini fan, but sadly have never seen this movie. I am going to try and watch it this week. Since I have seen Stardust Memories by Woody Allen I have been told I have to watch this movie because Allen's movie is an omage to Fellini.
The Stranger is an Orson Welles film, although I am not a huge fan of his work, I think he is an extremely important film maker so obviously I must see his movies. I did watch F is for Fake about two months ago and fell asleep through most of it, it was Welles towards the end of his career when he seemed more like a theatrical actor opposed to a serious one.
