I woke up this morning stiff and cranky. A pain in my hip half way through my walk to work and I feel into a terrible listless sleep on the bus ride into the city. I feel like a mess. I am hoping the day progresses better then it started.
Other Swap-o-Rama news:
I received some lovely packages this week from my swap buddies who were so nice to me this go around. The "piece of clothing" swap featured a lovely shimmery black scarf from Paris. Lately I have been a fiend for scarves especially think chunky ones, but as the summer approaches I need something lighter.
This one might be just perfect. It also arrived in the best package with a little man playing a horn. Amazing Package.
The other highlight was truly a gift from my "Note Book" swap buddy. She decorated this great little book with inspirational quotes, pictures, and envelopes for me to fill in. I loved searching through it and I greatly appreciate the effort that she put into this swap. It means a lot when
people put out the effort for a complete stranger. I think it definitely says something about the person's character.
I hope this weekend proves to be cheerful, fun, and all together enthralling. I am planning a big outing this evening with my friends to the Lower East Side. We are searching for the best free party and I am already thinking of what outfit I want to wear. The day just can't seem to go fast enough. I am also planning on crafting and movie watching at some point in the next three days when I am not sleeping and being a vegetable.
FRIDAY ART:
The red & white packaging with the rider & horse? Oh I love it! How wonderful...
Your weekend plans sound a lot like mine - I plan to "act my age", you know, eat good food, drink A LOT of wine, make good art and rablerouse with good girlfriends.

You know, that label might need to go the way of a freezer paper transfer shirt... Just a thought.
