Jordan Cranes' work looks like it was ripped out of some cartoony horror magazine or some bad pulp fiction. He has a great use of color especially the way he uses green and yellow..they are vivid and paint a great print. I also like the concept of affordable art that is limited edition and not beyond my meager budget. I want to collect art not because I want to sell it, but because I want to stare at it everyday and enjoy it. I have an ex-boyfriend who recently got into the work/hobby of buying and selling art books both signed and rare. I can't believe that he can look at these priceless books as just money....I guess that is why my room is filled and he can move so easily from place to place.
I often thought I could be one of those people that could easily get up and move, but I realize that these "things" around me make up a large portion of who I am and what inspires me. Sometimes you just can't get away from what you want and who you are.
