I was truly smitten with I love Factory when I found them so it ismy pleasure to interview them as part of The Little Interview Series. I need those headpieces immediately!
What is last thing you discovered about yourself?
Over the course of the past year we have discovered that we make ideal business partners. We know how to feed off of each other and we know our strengths and weaknesses.
How did your business get started?
We started designing head pieces for Laurel so we could compliment her amazing costumes that she would wear out to parties. Eventually our friends and people around us started to pick up on it and wanted one for themselves. And so the first collection Parklife Society was born.
Name of a few of your favorite publications?
Right now we are all about W, Lula, Muse and French Vogue
If you could collaborate with one person who would it be?
That's easy, Stephen Jones.
Where do you live and does your environment affect your work?
We live in Brooklyn and New York City and find so much of our inspiration from our surroundings. There are so many trend setters in New York. It makes us that much more creative.

If you could live in one other place in the world where would it be?
London, England.

We dream of genie?

Laurel: I'm reading Japanese author Haruki Murakami "The Wind Up Bird Chronicle"
Christopher: The last book I read was "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"

Well we just got this amazing compilation CD that has a mix of japanese music from the 1930's and 40's and a really great Lisa Frank mix our friend Kim Swift made for us. Here are 5 songs that we have on constant rotation in the factory right now.
