What is last thing you discovered about yourself?
Oh dear, if I have to answer quickly I have No idea!
How did your business get started?
I started my business when I was pregnant with my daughter Ophelia. I was making things for her new bedroom and since then I never really stopped. My background is in Applied Art and Set design, so I've been making 2D and 3D objects and installations for a long time before I started the business. I used to make a lot of models for theatre and film sets using a scalpel, now I'm still using the same scalpel but for cutting paper.
Name of a few of your favorite publications?
Elle Deco UK, World of Interior, Marie Claire Maison, Milk Magazine, Vanity Fair when I'm traveling.
If you could collaborate with one person who would it be?
God, I guess anybody, I like to collaborate on different projects. However I'd love to collaborate with someone on a project in Japan. I have fallen in love with this country and the people and I love Japanese design in general.
Where do you live and does your environment affect your work?
I live just outside Paris in a very green environment. I love being able to see trees when I open my window in the morning, although I think that I am an urban person. I wouldn't be able to live far from a big City.I like to walk out of my door and find nice coffee shops, bakery, see people walking down the street, be close to a train/tube to go see an exhibition, meet friends. Working from home can be lonely so it's nice to be surrounded by inspiring things.
If you could live in one other place in the world where would it be?
San Francisco: It's a buzzy and creative City and then you drive less than 15mn away and you're in the middle of some amazing forests. The sea and mountain at your doorstep, just brilliant all year round. The only thing, it's a bit far from our families.
Do you dream and if so do you have recurring themes?
Yes I do dream a lot but I never remember my dreams in the morning!
